What You’ll Do

Over the course of 12 months, as Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing our ROAS on a multi-million online marketing budget, mostly dedicated to Facebook advertising, with complementary campaigns on YouTube, Google, TikTok and any other ad platforms, working within defined CPA targets across 10+ countries:

​

  • Optimize, create, and maintain all Facebook & Instagram ads, monitoring KPIs daily. A/B Test ad creatives, working closely with our Meta Account Manager to ensure optimized ads in all 15 regions, working with freelance translators for ad copy in all non-English speaking territories.

​

  • Explore and test ad effectiveness on Google PPC, Google Shopping, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter and other highly trafficked websites associated with toys & video games.

​

  • Use Triple Whale to analyze ad and sales data across all Shopify stores, and Amazon sites, reporting to the CEO on ROAS, CPA, ACOS across all territories, across all campaigns.

​

  • Work in partnership with QPLAY’s Amazon PPC consultants to ensure the lowest ACOS on all global Amazon sites, maximizing ROAS across all ad channels, ensuring complementary ad effectiveness, not waste.

​

  • Work closely with QPLAY’s Community Manager to develop a gameshow-style livestream for all regions on TikTok, as well as developing influencer incentive scheme across key social media channels, in all markets.

​

  • Work closely with Outsmarted’s Brand Director, freelance video editor and freelance translators to produce all online assets required for ad creatives.

​

  • Work closely with QPLAY’s Chief Question Officer to leverage Outsmarted’s Netflix-style content store for optimal ad scheduling, built around QPLAY’s question and content release schedule, as well as seasonal events, for maximizing ROAS and sales.

​

  • With contribution from QPLAY’s Community Manager, Customer Success Manager, Brand Director, and CEO, you will take ownership of managing all of Outsmarted’s regional Shopify websites, and their respective content, ensuring they’re always congruent with any ongoing promotional activities.

​

  • Coordinate with both QPLAY’s Chief Question Officer and Community Manager to ensure a minimum of £1 million of content sales in 2023.

​

  • Explore other digital ad opportunities, such as Amazon’s TV ad network and other digital television ad networks worth leveraging, communicating suggestions ideas to the CEO.

  • You are proven in digital marketing success: We’re not looking to train anyone. You should be able to demonstrate success and track record with a multi-million pound budget.

  • Data & analytics are your North Star: Whilst being both creative and commercially aware, everything you do must be driven by the desire to make data-based decisions.

​

  • You’re a team player without ego: As a small team of four Outsmartians, growing to ten, everyone must have both a unique and valuable contribution to the mission. As a senior member of the team your contribution will be significant in achieving our revenue target.

​

  • You are curious & obsessed with new tech: The advent of new and emerging digital marketing tools is perpetual. You should be self-motivated with an inherent passion for digital marketing and data analytics.

​

  • You have a startup mentality: Our goal is to hire a leader, not a manager, with a bootstrapping approach, accepting that menial tasks are sometimes necessary. With both a Basic Salary, Bonus Scheme and Share Options, you may very well have a small marketing team or agency to manage in 2024.

​

  • You must have: Several years of experience in digital marketing with a proven track record in both Facebook & TikTok Ads, resulting in millions of pounds of revenue. Bonus points for any experience using Shopify Plus and/ or experience in a software of gaming company.

​

Where You’ll Work

​

QPlay has a hybrid work model. We recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Outsmartians. A typical week will require 3 days per week spent in our Bromley office, and the rest in your own space. 

​

What We Offer

​

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, plus an annual results-based bonus of up to £10k. We’re also proud to offer access to an exciting Share Option Scheme for this particular role.
